Important Changes to Ontario Auto Insurance
Each year, you and thousands of Ontarians renew your auto insurance policy to ensure you and your families have the right auto insurance coverage that gives you the choice and flexibility you need.
The Ontario government introduced changes to automobile insurance which means you will have more choice and flexibility to ensure your coverage best suits your needs.
These changes will take effect on September 1, 2010 for new policies and for renewing customers, at their next renewal after September 1st.
When you receive your policy renewal, effective September 1, 2010 or later, review your coverage and contact your insurance provider to discuss any changes you wish to make. If you wish to make changes prior to your renewal date, you can do so once the reforms come into effect September 1, 2010.
